This costume came about because Bryan needed a new peasant costume since I had sold his old one. Note to self - make replacement before selling original... Anyway, I had the green fabric in the stash. I had bought it not that long before so it was still on the top of the pile, just looking at me. We both liked the fabric but the real reason I had gotten it was because it was called Firefly. Since we're both obsessed with the show, we had to get it. And the black. I skipped on the red though because neither one of us would have looked that great in it and I really had bought enough with the green and black pieces.

So, this came together. I think I finally made that hat after losing it at least three times. I think I might have actually made two...

Bryan's harness is different from mine and I don't like either one. I think we'll end up going with a combination of the two but who knows what will happen, much less when it will happen.
