Bryan and I need peasant costumes for the RenFest because noble costumes aren't always feasible. We also love to play with CrystalStix so I wanted to make sure that we could easily play while in costume. This costume is based off of a few that I had made previously and ended up selling. I have since decided that that is a silly thing to do until the replacement is made.



This ended up being somewhat short but that works out quite well. I normally make things way too long. I can easily play while wearing this costume and don't have to worry about tripping over the hem. I have also found a wonderful hat to go with it. I had the caul already and this just finishes it off quite well.

I'm still working on the Stix harness. I have three sets of Stix and while this one works okay, it doesn't work very well with all three. And the hat makes it even more difficult because it has to slip over the head. I think I have a solution but Faire season is over until next spring so I'm not in a rush to try it out. Of course, I will end up working on it the night before we leave and it won't work and I'll be cursing me for not trying it out sooner.
